They were sold by a Japanese Store called ToySanta and they were sold out when I found them. So I tracked the store and wrote them to ask for info and they had no way of telling me if they would make more, but he told me that some buyers got a lot to resell and that I could still find them online, plus they had seen low quality versions made in China sold around too, which are fakes.
So I went after them and found both original and low quality versions... the difference is ridiculous! (left ones at R$27.30 are fake, the right ones at R$110.04 are original, that is the Brazilian currency)
The low quality ones, or fake ones look really ugly.
The eyes are awful and the stripes and colors are different, the black cat looks too vinyl black, their toes have less definition and they have a weird look on their faces, their flexed leg is also different.
Look between both pictures above and you'll see the screaming difference, and of course, if they are too cheap they are the fake ones.
You can find them on Amazon, Shopee, Wish, Aliexpress and Etsy.
Make sure you compare them well so you don't get disappointed with the low quality ones.
If you notice that the photos showing them on the same product are mixed between original and fakes ones, they are most definitely fake.
Etsy is your best bet! People there bought the original ones back when they were sold by ToySanta from Japan and are reselling it on Etsy.
You can also talk to the seller before you buy and ask for a picture of the product and then compare to make sure you will receive the original quality.
They are adorable and now sometimes they come with a black coffin, but that if from the fake ones mostly... the original ones sometimes have a coffin in really low quality added to it.
The idea is to get the original good looking ones because the fake ones look awful.
