Just so you don't think this post doesn't belong here
I have been an amateur astronomer since I was 12...
When I was 14 I wrote a little article about them and
presented it in high school and at the astronomy course I took.

anyways

They are back,
cycle 24 of the sunspots started this year.
They are historically correlated with temperature on Earth,
and they provide most of our solar radiation.
They have almost a cycle of 11 years and cycle 23 ended in 2008.
New spots showed up in January but not a lot
and in October 2008 more appeared, and that is very good.
They are colder than the Sun's photosphere,
I like to think of them as a coagulation floating on it.
Without them we wouldn't be able to predict space weather
and we would have a colder Earth, and maybe another Ice Age since
solar irradiance received by the Earth is affected by sunspot activity.
The Little Ice Age
(Sporer, Maunder, and Dalton from 1450 to 1820 )
was related to the fact that the Sun had a decrease number or no sun spots...
So, yay! for the new cycle...

I know, I'm a nerd

Declaration of War

So, Wrath of the Lich King starts tomorrow,
well at midnight...
but some world events have been happening a lot,
the plague, attacks to the cities etc...
it's awesome...

I made some screens form yesterday's event
Orgrimmar was attacked
Thrall declared war
Garrosh kicked his ass in the arena
and Lady Sylvanas was there too
(I love her)

Faradriel Agaredhel

Drawing of Faradriel that I made while
I was waiting for my new computer to install Windows...
anyway...

Faradriel is my character in World of Warcraft,
in 3 different realms.
In Uldaman she is Alliance, Night Elf Hunter and has no Bio...
but in Sentinels and Gnomeregan, where
I roleplay, she is Horde, a Blood Elf Hunter,
a Farstrider, and has the same Bio
with the same background history in both realms....
she also looks the same... the only difference
between them is the present history that develops
when I roleplay and interact with others...

well, I made a drawing of her...
it was the first ever, almost in the dark,
so give me a break if it looks horrible!

used HB and 6B, and kneaded eraser...
canson paper for dry media...
